War, drought, famine and disease have left thousands of children around the world orphaned. These tiny bodies that should be nurtured with food are in reality going to bed hungry too many nights. Everyday is a new struggle and a childhood that is deprived of a carefree life.

We at Life's Vision International want to reach out to these children. We also want to be the bridge between these needy children and your loving generous hearts. Many of us think about doing a good deed but don't know where to begin. We understand your concerns and are here to discuss and provide you with all the information you might need. Our goal here is solely to facilitate a better life for these children. With your help we can strive to make an ever-lasting difference on their impressionable minds and improve the quality of their lives. Sponsoring A Child

Sponsorship is about making a connection and enriching two lives in the process, the child's and yours. By becoming a sponsor you can make an immedicate difference. Your monthly gift ensures a child receives the basic necessities of food and shelter. But the child also benefits in other ways. The love and encouragement you can provide through simple letters may be all a child needs to renew their hope. Through these letters and with photos you have the chance to build a relationship as you correspond and share your lives with each other. Not only will you be a tremendous blessing to the child, but in turn you get to rejoice in their success at every milestone knowing that you played a very important role for them to get there.

How Sponsorship Works

As a sponsor, your monthly gift is combined with those of other sponsors to provide for the essential needs of the children in the orphanages and communities we work with in Africa and India.

As a sponsor:

• we ask for a one-year renewable commitment of $29 per month. $25 of each gift goes directly to your child's orphanage/community.

• you may choose to make monthly, quarterly, semi-annual payments online or by check, made payable to Life's Vision International.

• we encourage you to write to your child and build a close relationship that can mean so much to you both.

To do our part we will:

• match you with a child to sponsor based on your request.

• provide a photograph and information on your sponsored child.

• send you at a minimum two formal updates per year on your sponsored child's progress in his or her physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

• receive and send your correspondences once a month.

• forward your child's letters to you promptly upon receipt.

• do all we can to help create a meaningful bond between you and your sponsored child.
