Founder and Director

I wasn’t an orphan in the true sense of the word. But I do know what it felt like to live on the streets, to be hungry, no mother to nurture me and no family to belong to. My own experiences in life and the lessons I continue to learn every day from events around the world is why I founded Life’s Vision International.

One of my experiences was in 2001 when I had the privilege of traveling to India with an adoptive mother to pick up her son. It was then that I learned a lot about the adoption experience from the parent's point of view. The joys, the love, and the frustrations. I also witnessed first hand the joy and love of an orphaned child finding his forever family. I came home more determined than ever to make this happen for more orphans and loving families.

While in India I also witnessed how connected we as a world really are. I saw first hand how the events of 9/11 not only affected us in the US, but also the people of India. The sincere concern and heart felt condolences expressed to us for our Country were deeply moving. India felt our Country’s pain and was expressing their love. This experience helped me realize that the orphaned children of Africa, or Vietnam, or Russia or any country you chose, are really not so far away and not so different. They also have the need to love and be loved. It's a "Life's Vision" of every human being across the world.

There are millions of orphaned children around the world that need love, family and hope. I have held the children whose very lives depend on me finding them that. I cannot accept even one orphan feeling the loneness and pain that I felt when my life was similar to theirs. I am determined to do all I can to make it possible for every orphaned child to experience hope and love. Whether it is through adoption or the humanitarian aid Life’s Vision International provides. That is my unconditional commitment to them.
